Big Trucks 'n such....

I had never seen a "Hemitt" until getting into the army. Man these are big and cool trucks! Not nearly as large as the Soviet era "Centipede or its couterparts, but it's damn cool in its own right.

Another example of Soviet/ Russian transport systems is the MZKT 79221 "Poplar-M".

I love "funky" military stuff. This picture is of a MAZ 7907.
Nicknamed the "Centipede", this Soviet era 24 wheel transport sported a 1200 HP engine, had 6 articulating wheels up front and 6 articulating wheels in the rear, and could haul up to 100TONS! Heavy, man... Real heavy.... =)
